Fly Fishing in Austria - Fly Fishing in the Alps - Fly Fishing in Tyrol

Everything your heart desires

Leave everyday life behind, immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes, actively experience nature and share quiet, bonding moments by the water. One of the most beautiful experiences for nature lovers. Most fly fishermen and women will confirm this: This passion is far more than a hobby - it is a gateway to another world.

The Lech flows freely and unhindered for around 70 (!) kilometres from its source in its original riverbed - without cross-building, without a power station. This only exists once in Austria. This is why it is the last wild river in the northern Alpine region. It offers varied and challenging fishing - with fast, turbulent currents, deep pools and calm trickling stretches. All embedded in an alpine postcard idyll.

And to top it off, there is everything that makes Tyrol so special as a holiday destination - excellent cuisine, crystal-clear lakes, clean air, majestic mountains and valleys, countless outdoor activities and a rich cultural offering.

On this website we provide an overview of the fishing opportunities in the region and present selected sustainably managed fishing grounds.
