„The world is constantly shouting at us and wherever we look, something or someone is fighting for our attention. The noise around us is now so much greater than ever before in our world. This is another reason why I like to go fishing. To move to the quiet places where I can explore my inner self and take the time to hear the still, small voice that is silent in the chaos of normal life. The true pursuit for me is not to catch fish, but to be in connection with nature and myself, a break from the chaos of everyday life, time to reflect, experience camaraderie or even the nostalgia of childhood memories or the presence of our Creator.“
